The Harborough Feathers AGM will take place on Sunday 3rd July at 6pm at 11 Woodgate Close, Market Harborough, LE16 8EX.
The AGM is a great opportunity to have your say on how the club is run (including subscription fees, team entries, match nights etc) and to get involved. We would therefore absolutely welcome your attendance and input at the AGM, even if you do not wish to take on a more active role with the club.
Having said that, we are always looking for people to get involved and offer to help on the committee. All committee positions will be up for election at the AGM, including:
- Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Ladies Captain
- Mens Captain
- Doubles Captain
- Welfare Officer(s)
- Social Secretary
- Fixtures Secretary
Most of the committee roles are not too time consuming and you are welcome to ask myself or one of the existing committee members what the roles involve. Note also that we cannot enter teams into the league(s) without team captains.
If you are interested in any of the roles on the committee or would like to add something to the agenda for discussion at the AGM, then please let me know by Friday 24th June. Likewise, if you are unable to attend and would like something raised, then please let me know.
We hope to see as many of you as possible at the AGM and hopefully on the badminton court again later in the summer.
